Position Summary:
The Metering Solutions Engineering Specialist at Redaptive is responsible for leading programmatic meter design based on customer needs and expectations for energy efficiency projects. The Metering Solutions Engineering Specialist will bring advanced technical expertise in electrical engineering and energy efficiency to deliver high-impact solutions. This role is crucial in driving the successful implementation of energy efficiency projects within the organization.Responsibilities and Duties: With direction, develop programmatic meter designs tailored to meet customer needs and expectations. Design and review scope of work for electric, gas, and water meter customer proposals. Creation of specifications for programmatic panel audits and designs, ensuring precision, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and codes. Provide technical expertise in electrical engineering, to support project teams in achieving successful implementations of energy efficiency solutions across direct, indirect and distributor models Conduct rigorous quality assurance reviews of meter designs, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, reliability, and adherence to project specifications. Other duties as assigned. Job Duty Time Spent Performing Duty With direction, develop programmatic meter designs tailored to meet customer needs and expectations. 50% Design and review scope of work for electric, gas, and water meter customer proposals. 50% Required Abilities and Skills: Interpersonal Skills: Highly effective communication and collaboration abilities to engage with diverse cross-functional teams. Technical Skills: Proven and substantial experience in designing and implementing programmatic electrical meter solutions. Education and Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
