Main Duties & Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Responsible for planning, implementing, maintaining, and improving the Integrated Management Systems (Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety, and others as applicable), ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and internal and external requirements. Acts strategically and operationally, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

·       Maintain and update the management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other applicable standards.

·       Develop, review, and control SGI documentation, such as policies, procedures, work instructions, and records. 

·       Conduct internal audits and support external and certification audits. 

·       Lead corrective and preventive actions, ensuring proper handling of audit non-conformities. 

·       Monitor performance indicators of the management systems and propose improvement actions. 

·       Support departments in identifying and managing risks and opportunities related to the SGI. 

·       Ensure compliance with legal and other applicable requirements related to the company’s activities. 

·       Promote training and awareness campaigns on SGI for employees. 

·       Follow up and support action plans related to health, safety, environment, and quality. 

·       Support leadership in setting goals, policies, and guidelines related to the SGI. 

·       Interact with clients, regulatory bodies, and certification organizations on management system matters. 

·       Participate in internal committees and strategic meetings, representing the SGI.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in Quality management systems with working knowledge of statistical process controls, preferably in the plastics industry.
•  Excels in process, product and system audits.
•  Proficient in reading prints.
• Experience providing Quality Systems training to employees.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, QA application and general math.
• Familiarity with gauge/inspection process.
• Knowledge and use of measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, etc)
• Strong communication skills; verbal and written.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills - (8D, Fishbone, 5 whys)
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the plant to include mentoring, training, and root cause analysis.
• Technical writing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and taking initiative.
