The Role

We are looking for a hands-on IT Manager for a 6-month extendable contract to lead and execute critical IT infrastructure and operations initiatives. This is a high-impact role where you will be responsible for building foundational IT processes from the ground up while also managing day-to-day IT systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient IT operations.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement core IT processes, policies, and workflows across the organization

  • Set up and manage SSO (Single Sign-On) solutions to streamline and secure access management

  • Take ownership of endpoint management (device lifecycle management), including provisioning, configuration, compliance, and security using tools like Intune, Jamf, or similar

  • Administer and optimize Active Directory and identity management systems

  • Ensure secure and scalable onboarding/off boarding processes and access controls

  • Support the rollout of collaboration tools, software licenses, and IT hardware

  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues in a timely manner

  • Maintain documentation of systems and procedures for internal reference

What You'll Bring

  • 6–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration, including team or project leadership

  • Strong, hands-on experience with:
    - SSO setup and management (e.g., Okta, Azure AD)
    - Endpoint management solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Kandji)
    - Active Directory and related tools

  • Proven track record in building or scaling IT processes in a growing organization

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience in a SaaS or fast-paced tech environment is a plus

Preferred Certifications (not mandatory, but a strong plus):

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

  • Okta Certified Administrator / Okta Certified Consultant

  • Jamf 200/300 Certifications (for Mac endpoint management)

  • CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Network+

  • ITIL Foundation Certification (for process setup and IT service management)
