POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RPN), a Personal Support Worker (PSW) will perform any combination of the following duties in the care of male and female residents in accordance with the residents’ care plan and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary health care team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Bathing, toileting, Nutrition, and Transfers
2. Adheres to the homes policies, procedures, and routines
3. Documents all duties performed in a clear and concise manner
4. Ability to work independently and do any administrative duties
5. Must demonstrate continuing education
