Position Summary
In the position of Region Sales Director, you will be -- manage all sales, revenue generating activities and relationships with Bottling Group to develop portfolio business in territory. Lead Sales Managers (SM) in the region, work with bottling group, and operating unit leaders in aligning key strategies, KPIs and achieving targets.
Essential Job Functions
- Bottler management, working on Value Chain, build annual business plan with bottler team and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Apply a sales strategy to target key markets and establish a dominant presence in the territory; execute promotional programs and activities with key partners.
- Manage sales forecasts and budgets to achieve established goals to deliver profitable growth.
- Manage sales reporting obligations in a timely manner to include frequent sales updates, pricing surveys, etc.
- Execute partnerships with key customer banners, wholesalers, retailers and distributors in order to grow the portfolio.
- Keep abreast and report on products, category, innovation, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends.
- Train, lead by example and motivate the bottling group at all levels to execute the planned activities and deliver the expected results. Provide leadership on strategic channel best practice, build the model for future national roll out.
Position Requirements
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Administration, Marketing, Communications or another related field.
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 7 years of experience in sales, beverage industry, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in managing people, collaborating with a team.
- Computer Skills Desired: Microsoft Excel, Power point and basic understanding of Power Bi.
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Knowledge of effective sales techniques and training strategies. Understanding of sales metrics and data-informed decision making.
