The Candidate and Responsibilities
The Manager of Corporate Operations & IT position is based out of Vancouver.
Applicants for this position will be self-motivated individuals with a high degree of initiative and will possess strong interpersonal skills, be attentive to detail, and able to build trusting relationships.
The candidate will report directly to the VP of People and Culture and work in conjunction with all Departments.
This role is responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations of the office and IT functions, while also supporting internal communications and strategic initiatives. The Manager of Corporate Operations & IT will be active in the following primary responsibilities both in an individual and team setting:
Corporate Operations (approx. 40%)
- Oversee office procurement and office management expenses.
- Supervise corporate budgets and reporting related to office management/security, IT, social activities.
- Maintain and enhance operations and IT process documents.
- Manage office administration and office coordinator, including front desk, reception, supplies, vendor contracts, facilities management.
- Support health and safety initiatives, space planning, and hybrid/remote work support.
- Manage the Office Coordinator
- Responsible for the intranet, content creation, and updates. Generate ideas, compile, and publish communications content based on the calendar using SharePoint news.
IT Management & Technologies ( approx. 60%)
- Manage third-party IT provider, including weekly check-ins and project oversight
- Oversee IT vendor management
- Supervise IT systems, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, software updates, and user access
- Liaise between IT service provider and staff
- Conduct employee IT training and onboarding
- Handle escalation of IT issues/solutions
- Manage IT budget, roadmap, and analysis
- Track and procure IT assets
- Maintain company SharePoint, communication, and tech support sites
- Oversee company filing system and IT security
- Administer data governance policy and procedures
- Enforce cybersecurity policies and oversee annual audits
- Support business system implementations and improvements
- Support the Operational Excellence Committee to drive technological improvement in the organization

Competencies, Qualifications and Required Experience
- 5 years of experience in office operations and IT management
- Advanced skills in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, CoPilot, OneNote)
- Advanced skills in SharePoint management, including site creation, permission management, and workflow automation
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Canva, Mailchimp, and AI tools.
- Diploma in Computing & Information Technologies, IT or related field
- Intermediate skills or certification in Project Management and Change Management (PMP, ProSci) considered an asset
- Experience with Salesforce administration considered an asset
- Experience with third-party IT vendor management
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Experience in real estate, finance, or asset management sectors considered an asset

Our Compensation & Benefits Philosophy
Our compensation package includes a competitive base salary, bonus, and potential LTI program. The typical hiring range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000 per year. The actual offered salary may vary and will depend on individual experience, qualifications, and market condidtions for the role. We are also pleased to offer the following benefits:
