As a Homecare Coordinator, you will support the daily operational workflow to ensure a high level of service, delivering prompt, courteous, and professional support to Health Professionals and clients.

- Support the daily operational workflow to ensure a high level of service, delivering prompt, courteous, and professional support to Health Professionals and clients.
- Coordinate house call client bookings, assignments, and schedules.
- Assist with problem-solving and troubleshooting within the House Call department.
- Manage scheduling, including vacation, sick time, and special projects.
- Prepare payroll timesheets and mileage logs; validate daily payment submissions.
- Respond to inquiries from Nursing Homes, Retirement Homes, and clients regarding technical, procedural, and administrative matters, ensuring all interactions are handled professionally and courteously.
- Act as a liaison with the Department Manager for non-routine concerns and escalations.
- Distribute correspondence and updates to Mobile Services Health Professionals.
- Maintain and distribute home care logs for billing and record-keeping purposes.
- Enter and validate standing orders from nursing homes, retirement homes, and house call patients in iCare; schedule visits, update files, and ensure accuracy of records.
- Graduate of a Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent (asset).
- Strong technical and data entry skills; ability to verify completeness of patient demographics and OHIP/non-OHIP requisitions.
- Proven ability to manage and maintain Health Professional routes to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Capable of working independently with a high degree of initiative and sound decision-making.
