Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic and proactive market development of Austria and work closely with the region responsible for Switzerland in line with corporate strategy and targets.
- Acquire, develop and manage key OEM and distribution partners in Switzerland and Austria.
- Build and extend relationship with key planners / institutional investors in Switzerland.
- Analyse market trends, identify growth potential, and define targeted regional action plans.
- Actively participate in relevant industry associations and alliances to boost Taconova’s brand and visibility.
- Participate actively in national and relevant international trade fairs Technical
- Provide technical consultation across the entire Taconova portfolio, with emphasis on fresh water systems. Work closely with German Planner team for “product calculations”
- Conduct training sessions and technical presentations for customers, partners, and planners.
- Identify customer needs and translate them into input for product development or adaptation.
- Ensure design quality and adherence to project timelines and standards.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and contracts in line with internal policies.
- Use CRM as management and reporting tool
- Update monthly forecasts
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Completed technical education (preferably in HVAC/building technology or mechanical engineering).
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, hydronic circuits, and their components.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical sales, key account management, or project-based sales.
- Strong communication, networking, and customer relationship skills.
- Positive and highly motivated attitude
- Teamplayer, able to communicate across borders
- Winning personality with a confident appearance
- Analytical and structured work ability
- Experience with project business, OEM clients and 3-step distribution models.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office; CRM knowledge is a plus.
- Fluent in German and English (spoken and written); French is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 30–40% across Switzerland and 10% -20% across Austria.
Preferred
- Existing customer network in either Switzerland or Austria.
- Consultative selling background and experience with solution-based sales.
- Analytical mindset, structured approach, and a proactive personality.
