For our site in Lyon we are looking for a 

Responsable Technique National (m/f/d) 

As National Technical Manager, you are the national point of contact and guarantor of the technical development for a portfolio of current products, and you prepare for the arrival of major innovations. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Oversee an herbicide and fungicide portfolio (field crops and industrial crops)

• Lead technical support and provide agronomic expertise to market managers and sales teams for your assigned projects 

• Structure the technical development of new FMC innovations specifically for the French market, collaborating closely with our EMEA regional teams 

• Work in close collaboration with the commercial, communications, sales, regulatory, and French marketing departments 

• Engage regularly with customers, technical institutes, prescribers, and distributors to ensure we remain highly responsive to on-the-ground needs 

Skills 

• Master's degree in agronomy or agriculture 

• Proven experience (5+ years) in a comparable position (e.g., R&D, Technical Lead, Product Development) 

• Excellent skills in experimental design, coordination, project management, and communication 

• Fluent in professional English (both written and spoken is essential), as you'll regularly interact with European teams 

• Familiarity with French regulations for placing plant protection products on the market 

• In-depth knowledge of the French agricultural market and distribution channels
