Hybrid Supply Chain and Logistics Specialist bei Allient Inc.

Allient Inc. is looking for a highly motivated Supply Chain and Logistics Specialist to join our Supply Chain team in Porto, Portugal! As part of our team, the selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of supply chain activities, supporting production, procurement, and customer service. Apply now!

Responsibilities: 

• Plan raw materials and manage stock levels based on production requirements and customer orders 
• Create purchase orders, schedule deliveries, liaise with suppliers and follow up to ensure timely delivery 
• Coordinate production planning in collaboration with the Production Planner
• Analyze raw material costs and support supplier negotiation processes
• Plan finished goods shipments in line with customer schedules
• Assess and monitor supply chain efficiency and performance 
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain area

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in industrial engineering, management or other relevant field
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written 
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills 
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive
• Oriented towards continuous improvement and process optimization. 
• Previous experience in the Automotive Industry
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics (ERP) and Power BI
• Experience in Materials Planning and Customer Service
