Security Patch Specialist

The role – Security Patch Specialist
You will integrate a project team into IT Infrastructure department to manage Patch and Vulnerability journey for the team. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Develop and implement patch management processes to ensure timely updates and security patches across all systems
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments by using our dedicated platform which assess our IT landscape
Collaborate with IT and security teams to develop and execute remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities
Continuously monitor systems for vulnerabilities and provide detailed reports on the status of patching and vulnerabilities
Implement automation tools and scripts to streamline patch management and vulnerability assessment processes
Maintain comprehensive documentation of patch management processes, vulnerability assessments, and remediation activities.
Your profile
BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar is preferred
Proven experience in managing patch and vulnerability management programs
Strong knowledge of patch management tools and vulnerability assessment methodologies
Experience in PowerShell and scripting tools are welcome
Adaptability to onboard on a new technology to apply a patch
Fluent in both written and spoken English and Portuguese.
