MISSION

Responsible for the implementation of contemporary HR practices in employee engagement, technical and leadership development, managing change and employee relations, working closely with the relevant business partners in the Spanish and Portuguese affiliates to deliver.

Responsible to create and implement strategies and platforms to deliver proactive and effective workforce management, health and safety policies and practices to support a highly skilled and professional employee base and meet legislative and regulatory requirements.

Responsible for leading the internal communications to ensure internal engagement that reinforce the Zentiva vision, mission and priorities, building employees sense of pride, understanding and contribution to the business.

Responsible for the car fleet management.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acts as Business Partner, strategic solution provider, advisor and coach for the affiliate leadership team.  Supports the Head of Zentiva in creating high-performance teams.

  • Directly influences the development and deployment of the business’ strategic needs. Implements strategic HR planning and defines the HR strategy at affiliate level.  Drives culture change to align with this strategy. Assesses gaps between current and desired states, and deploys action plans to resolve them, including the identification of opportunities to improve organization capability and employee engagement.

  • Provides guidance and direction on complex HR and business issues.

  • Ensures that trends in key HR metrics (e.g. attendance, skills flexibility, employee engagement, talent management metrics, disciplinary actions and grievances, voluntary labor turnover) are analyzed in order to identify gaps in performance at individual, management or team level.  Support managers to achieve target levels of performance and drive continuous improvement in metrics relevant to people management effectiveness.

  • Commissions services and information from the HQ HR services when expert interventions are required or information is needed to aid good business decisions. Provides feedback about service levels.

  • Ensures the implementation of Zentiva HR policies (Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Learning and Development, Talent Management and Headcount Control and Recruitment Planning).

  • Manages the employee relations and administrative tasks such as payroll, benefits, taxes, etc.

  • Manages the car fleet.

  • Implements global internal communications plans at the cluster level.

  • Effectively delivers regular communications for all staff through a range of channels, ensuring ease of access to communications, clarity and consistency of messages.

  • Represents the affiliate as HSE responsible in internal meetings, internal audits and with the Group responsible.

  • Responsible for the Internal Emergency Plan and for the planning and organization of HSE activities (fire drolls, HSE training).
     

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • High level education in Human Resources Management or similar areas.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR generalist or HBPR roles at multinational companies.

  • Fluent in Spanish and English. Knowledge of Portuguese will be a plus.

  • Previous experience in the Workday system will be a plus.

  • Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize.

  • Ability to lead, manage and execute multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented and nimble environment.

  • Analytical skills.
