Are you passionate about game design and eager to create unforgettable racing game experiences? Our Barcelona studio is looking for a Level Design Intern to join our team! This is a great opportunity to learn directly from experienced designers in a dynamic, international environment.
As a member of the Level Design team, you’ll be guided by our Senior Designers and Studio Lead to:
Learn how to design and prototype fun, immersive levels for racing games.
Collaborate with the art and development teams to ensure high quality and on-time delivery.
Document, analyze, and iterate on level designs, including competitive benchmarking to learn and improve.
Keep the design documentation clear and up to date throughout the development process.
To be eligible for this internship, you must be able to sign a learning agreement with a school or university.
We’re looking for someone who is:
Passionate about video games, especially game design.
Has basic knowledge of game design principles (3Cs, learning curve, difficulty balancing, pacing, accessibility, etc.).
Familiar with 3DS Max.
Has experience using level editors (Unity, UE4, UDK, etc.) and can create prototypes.
Has basic scripting knowledge (C++, Lua, or similar) to support prototyping.
Comfortable illustrating ideas visually using tools like Photoshop, SketchUp, PowerPoint, or similar.
Open to feedback, willing to critique your own work, and proactive in improving it.
Can communicate in English (intermediate level or above).
