About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive in the DACH team – focused on the public sector. Pexip has a vision to strengthen Germany’s public sector with sovereign and resilient European solutions for critical communication and collaboration. The role has focus on the public sector in Germany.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is truly motivated by strengthening Germany’s public sector with secure communication and collaboration solutions. You are structured, keen on details, curious, and collaborative—and you thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’re not afraid to challenge and contribute with ideas. You seek accountability for your area of responsibility.
You are commercially driven and able to balance progress with long sales cycles. You are willing to actively engage in the German government lobby/think hubs. Further, you have the ability to engage with Pexip partners that specialize on Federal, Public Safety Defense, and Intelligence.
About the Team
You’ll be part of a small and specialized, collaborative, and solution-oriented team based in DACH. We work closely with teams across sales, product, and operations, and we value trust, transparency, and teamwork. The role reports to: Country Manager DACH
Your Day-to-Day:
- Pipeline generation via strong existing public sector network, trusted advisership to high-level customer stakeholders, regular on-site lobbyism in Berlin or Bonn (e.g., via participation in the GovTech Campus), and screening of tenders
- Closing sales opportunities/projects with large and complex customers with 6+ months sales cycles via proactive high-touch sales and in tandem with our Pexip partners
- Help maintain a positive, supportive, and engaging team culture
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Business Management, Business Administration, Informatics or similar
- 5+ years in IT sales, consulting, or similar pre-sales roles within Federal Government, Public Safety, Defense, or Intelligence
- Strong interest in technology and cyber security
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English is a plus
