Key Responsibilities
- Define a region-specific marketing plan that supports the regional sales strategy.
- Provide insight and geo specific requirements to broader marketing discipline teams including Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Digital Marketing and Campaigns and events.
- Working with sales to analyse pipeline trends and define and track results of key actions to help address gaps or local initiatives.
- Strategise, build and execute integrated campaigns that drive the achievement of the regional and overall SANS revenue targets.
- Own and run account-based marketing campaigns with your sales teams (or collaborate with your regional Lead Management manager) and enable Sales Development Reps and Inside Sales team to accelerate new customer acquisition.
- Work with the EMEA Community Specialist and Central supporting marketing teams to build and execute campaigns that drive orders for your regional training events.
- Plan and host online and offline events to create net-new sales opportunities, accelerate existing sales opportunities and deepen our existing customer relationships.
- Assist your (regional) sales team as needed to address pipeline gaps, including increasing brand awareness locally/regionally, and driving leads and MQLs.
- Conduct post-event/campaign evaluations and ROI analysis; report and share results and recommendations with sales team and marketing teams.
- Support various other marketing projects as needed.
- Working with Content Marketing, Brand and Sales and engage in relevant partnerships to build and support the local cybersecurity community that helps increase our brand awareness locally.
- Work closely with third parties/external media partners in the DACH and Central/Eastern European regions, to drive awareness and lead generation.
- Manage and control the DACH Central/Eastern European regions Marketing budget in collaboration with the Senior Field Marketing Manager, EMEA.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelors or master’s degree in Marketing.
- Fluency both verbally and written in English and German.
- 5-6 years’ Marketing experience of which 2-3 years in B2B Field Marketing.
- Excellent knowledge in marketing, sales, and promotion, coupled with a creative mindset and being hands-on.
- Proven knowledge and experience in the DACH region, including the development and execution of marketing activities tailored to the region.
- Experience delivering, accelerating and expanding sales pipeline through regional marketing activities.
- Proven track record of delivering results and achieving on time and on budget delivery.
- Understanding of lead generation best practices.
- Direct experience working with CRM and Marketing Automation tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Marketo (or similar) and Salesforce.com.
- PC literate with good MS Office skills.
- Self-starter who is not afraid to challenge the status quo.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment, utilizing digital communication and collaboration tools.
- Ability to use own initiative and work independently.
- Able to work in high pressure situations and deadline driven.
