Wiltshire Environment - Shaping a Greener, More Sustainable Future

Wiltshire’s Public Protection Service brings together food and health & safety, trading standards, animal health, environmental protection, licensing, and pest control. 

As a Technical Support Officer, you will cover a wide range of administrative, technical and ICT tasks and provide specialist and general support to the public protection teams. You will be responsible for the maintenance and day-to-day support of the current IT system and assist with the implementation of new software.

We are looking for a professional officer with a caring and considerate manner who can communicate effectively with colleagues and customers. An understanding of administrative procedures and a willingness to support busy teams are both important qualities which are necessary in order to carry out this role.

You will be able to prioritise, plan and manage your time effectively, demonstrating your ability to work under pressure.

You will be educated to A level (or equivalent) and NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
