Job Title: Internal Sales Representative 

Job Type: Full-Time 

Location: Heywood, UK

Department: Sales & Customer Support

Overview: 

We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Internal Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you’ll provide essential customer service support and help drive sales growth of a technically challenging product range by maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and converting inbound enquiries into successful orders.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Handling all aspects of customer service, including order processing, quotations, and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
  • Evaluating customers’ needs and building productive, long-lasting relationships
  • Ensuring all sales activity is updated in the CRM system (Salesforce.com)
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products
  • Investigating and resolving customer complaints, and developing effective solutions
  • Providing training and technical support to end-user clients as required
  • Making occasional customer visits

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in internal sales or customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask 
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
  • Effective presentation, sales, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Knowledge of fabrics/textiles and chemicals is an advantage
