Remote Business Process and Solution Consultant bei Upwork

Upwork has partnered with an enterprise client who is a British confectionery and snack foods leader. Their 17,000+ global workforce spans 25 factories in 11 nations. 

To help them with their mission, they are currently recruiting for a Business Process and Solution Consultant who has expertise in using PLM tools like Siemens Opcenter RD&L. 

• Conduct business process mapping workshops across the client regions with stakeholders at different levels
• Document and validate as-is processes across regions and plants
• Explain the to-be process and global design
• Establish and validate fit-gap analyses to identify required process and system changes.
• Drive and align deployment planning and execution to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and coach to stakeholders, facilitating the explanation of solution design and securing business alignment and approvals.
• Conduct business analysis to support the delivery of the strategic roadmap and system adoption throughout the project.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, recommend improvements, and ensure transparency through data-driven insights.
• Communicate process updates, progress, and recognise achievements across the organisation.

• Preferred a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or PHD in a relevant area, and 10+ years of experience within the food and beverage industry
• Working knowledge of at least one PLM tool, preferably Siemens Opcenter RD&L
• Experience of working as a consultant and driving changes in processes and ways of working
• Must be an excellent communicator, tactful diplomat, problem solver and out-of-the-box thinker – with the ability to understand and respond to customer and business needs in a rapidly changing business environment
• PMP Certified preferred
