Your tasks
Your main tasks
- Adding, amending and removing user accounts.
- Troubleshouting and resolving or escalating desktop or network computer issues
- Use Ticket system to document employee support requests
- Provide support, including sign posting to procedural documentation
- Monitoring and maintaingin computer systems and networks
- Manage and update hardware and software asset registers
- Installing and configuring computer operating systems and applications
- Diagnose and solve hardware/software faults
- Support the delivery of IT rollouts and projects
- Supporting telephony and hardware infrastructure
Your profile
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- IT knowledge – technical. You may have gained this at school, college, self-taught or work experience.
- Good communicator and excellent timekeeping.
- Ability to work constructively within a team.
- Customer orientated with excellent problem solving skills.
- The ability to multitask and to manage changing workloads and priorities.
- Be reliable, determined and trustworthy.
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to learn.
