About the Customer Success Team
We help our customers achieve their desired outcomes and realize the highest added value possible – in their business context – with ActiveViam’s innovative suite of products and solutions. We do that by partnering with our customers while providing them with a mix of product education, standard technical or functional support, and custom implementation and support services.
Onboarding new customers is an important part of our responsibilities. However, our work doesn’t stop there. We aim for our solutions to go live and be utilized more and more as our customers understand the benefits of extending their use cases and achieving more with us.
We are not only “product evangelists”, externally, when fostering product adoption by our customers. We are also a fundamental “voice of the customer”, internally, to our product and engineering teams.
Position Overview
As a key contributor and team leader, you play a crucial role assisting ActiveViam’s customers in realizing the business value of Atoti, articulated during presales, within a production context.
We're looking for someone to join our team who can leverage ActiveViam products to help our customers with planning, scoping, implementing, and deploying solutions.
This role also includes a variety of other engagements, such as:
* Participating in pre-sales opportunities
* Analyzing and resolving support issues
* Providing feedback to our Research & Development team
* Contributing to customer education through FAQs and training materials
Reporting to the Regional Head of Customer Success, you will have significant autonomy in making decisions related to your responsibilities. You and your team are expected to write clean code that adheres to sound design principles and effectively communicate how it is tested. Additionally, you will provide thought leadership on aspects of designing, developing, and deploying our solutions, as well as addressing technical challenges.
In addition to the technical aspects of the underlying engineering role the team leader will:
- Oversee the daily management, scheduling, and development of engineering resources within the assigned team to meet demand.
- Work with the Regional CS Head and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to coordinate and resource existing and pipeline work, identifying potential gaps between demand and availability and liaising with other internal teams as needed.
- Monitor the personal growth of their team members by identifying training and development needs for each individual within the team to meet the needs of the business.
- Provide input into individual and team objectives and facilitate their individual team members' reviews.
- Work with your team along with other teams across the organisation to deliver increased customer satisfaction and identify opportunities to expand their Atoti usage.
- Help to optimize our delivery processes and provide feedback on our products to the appropriate internal teams
The role of Tech Team Leader within the Customer Success team extends beyond coding and collaboration with peers. We are dedicated to ensuring our customers successfully utilize our software solutions, and we are committed to understanding their needs within a broader business context.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Engineering / Computer Sciences.
- 5+ years’ experience in support and engineering in/with financial institutions.
- 5+ years experience in core Javaor Python development for data analytics use cases, with the focus on memory, concurrency, and algorithm performance.
- Passion for identifying problems, participating in solutions definition, and then wanting to personally convince people of the right fit of such solutions.
- Genuine interest in exploring how technology can empower business professionals to analyze data more efficiently and effectively, ultimately helping to steer business decisions.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Delegate tasks to team members and provide guidance as needed
- Manage risks and issues and develop contingency plans when necessary
- Ability to manage and develop others
- Travel: flexibility to travel at short notice across Europe.
Preferred Skills and experience:
- Experience in front office, market risk, credit/counterparty risk, or liquidity risk use cases.
- Experience with some BI tools (e.g. Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI).
- Experience with Python scripting.
- Experience with devops frameworks/tools.
- Experience with some data storage/query engines.
- Experience with some in-memory computing frameworks.
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
