The Role

As a key member of our Commercial team, you’ll play a crucial role in driving business growth by building a strong pipeline of clients and data projects for our consultants. Your responsibilities will include identifying, researching, and engaging with prospective clients to expand Rockborne’s market presence and accelerate our sales efforts.

You’ll have the opportunity to understand clients’ unique challenges, apply Rockborne’s insights, and match them with the right talent to maximize value. This is a high-impact role where curiosity, creativity, and a passion for business development are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through outbound prospecting activities like cold calling and LinkedIn. 
  • Leverage LinkedIn for social selling and lead generation. 
  • B2B marketing mapping, researching prospects and personalising approach before initial contact. 
  • Develop a strong understanding of Rockborne solutions to effectively communicate their benefits to potential clients. 
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads using a CRM system. 
  • Stay on top of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies. 
  • Understanding customers’, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Must work in a rapid, highly organised manner. 
  • Motivated by working in a target-lead sales environment with visible KPIs.
  • Motivated by fast growth and potential for progression. 
  • Must be a flexible, creative and entrepreneurial character who is looking to grow into a leadership role. 
  • Excellent written English, communication and presentation skills are required.
