As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities within your assigned sector, building buyer relationships, understanding their needs, and then leading development of winning proposals with our presales/consultancy team. Your success will be originating opportunities, leading the sales conversation through to contracting and negotiation, before transitioning new engagements to delivery leadership in the relevant account management teams.

Working in a business development environment in private sector B2B
Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the customer organisation
Building strong customer relationships in private sector B2B
Working in a technology sales environment
Ability to plan and meet deadlines in accordance with business requirements.
Outbound prospecting activity
What you will be doing:
You will be developing strong relationships and networks with potential clients to unearth business opportunities.
Maintaining an understanding of our target markets through ongoing research and customer engagement.
Working closely with our Hyperscaler Partnerships, Sales Development and Marketing teams to refine messaging, outreach, and industry insights.
Building our network within target organisations and engaging with community and industry networks and events, building Scott Logic’s reputation.
Work with the Sales Development team to transfer qualified leads.
