Overview of role
- Assisting with month end closure, ensuring this is completed in line with the timetable.
- Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, reviewing journal entries and ensuring accurate financial data.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet and financial reports for several European entities.
- Assisting with the development and monitoring of business services annual budgets & quarterly forecasts.
- Variance Analysis and analytical review.
- Liaising with auditors/advisors across entities where appropriate.
- Preparation of monthly, bi-monthly and quarterly VAT returns for different legal entities.
- Assisting with the year-end consolidation process, statutory reporting, including corporation tax.
- Local GAAP to UK GAAP Reconciliations.
- Process Improvements.
- Assist with RLB Global Board Reporting.
- Other ad hoc tasks as required.
- A qualified Chartered Accountant with 3+ years PQE.
- Industry experience desirable.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to lead by example and mentor junior staff.
- Strong analytical skills and a key attention to detail.
- Ability to work to a timetable and flex workload according to requirements.
