Job Purpose
As an Associate you will work across the various infrastructure funds managed by InfraRed.
Your role includes supporting in the origination and execution of infrastructure transactions. Depending on business needs the role may require supporting other business functions such as portfolio management, fund management and capital initiatives.
You will be based in our London office but may be required to travel to other offices to assist in supporting transactions.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Semi-annual valuations and business plan monitoring for ~two assets including review of financial model updates from project companies and sensitivity analysis as required
- Supporting the origination, analysis, structuring, documentation and execution of infrastructure investment opportunities with a primary focus on Europe, with flexibility to work across other target regions
- Other analytical, research and modelling support for the team including competitor analysis and market reviews
- Provide support for business development initiatives
- Take an active role in the due diligence and structuring work-streams with advisers
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and discussion of investment opportunities
- Coordinate with asset management to identify long term requirements for the asset
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in the infrastructure sector either as an investment professional or a financial advisor is required
- Knowledgeable about the infrastructure industry (sectors, markets, participants) with strong financial modelling skills
- Analytically rigorous and detail oriented particularly with regards to numerical analysis, legal documentation and written reports
- Grasping key commercial drivers in relation to existing assets and new transactions, including what the key drivers are for value enhancement
- Ability to synthesize complex matters effectively and concisely
- A highly collaborative team player
- Comfortable managing involvement in multiple simultaneous initiatives
- Contributor towards internal presentations and present findings on the transactions
- Fluent in English with additional European languages (e.g. German, French, Spanish) is highly beneficial
