Role: Off-Cycle Investment Banking Advisory Internship (3-6 months, from September 2025)



What We Offer:

We are looking to hire a full-time Investment Banking Off-Cycle Intern (3-6 months) to start as early as possible to support our highly experienced and successful Investment Banking team. Working out of our London office, you will gain exposure across a broad range of investment banking services—including corporate financing (debt and equity), M&A and capital raising and work across multiple sectors such as renewable energy, infrastructure, natural resources and power across Africa, Asia and developed markets. As part of our team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Support with the preparation of marketing materials for pitches, buy- and sell-side transactions, and other client meetings
  • Prepare company valuations and financial analyses using a variety of valuation methodologies using corporate financial models
  • Perform company and market research and prepare accompanying analyses
  • Assist deal-teams with the execution of live buy- and sell-side transactions as well as capital raisings.

 

What We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Final year of, or recently completed, a bachelor’s or master’s degree;
  • University degree in a quantitative or technical field from a leading institution (e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance) preferred;
  • Passion to pursue a career in energy, renewables infrastructure and/or natural resources is preferred;
  • Some experience in financial services, preferably investment banking, private equity or corporate finance;
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills including Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Good team player but also able to work independently;
  • Self-motivated with ability to learn quickly and take the initiative to broaden own knowledge;
  • High level of motivation and capacity for teamwork;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines;
  • Passion for excellence and attention to detail;
  • Interest in Emerging Markets desirable;
  • Fluency in one or more European languages other than English desirable but not essential;
  • Right to work in the UK essential.
