Role Summary:
This role will be responsible for planning IT Platform workstreams to deliver company-wide Integrated Products for all aspects of EWR such as customer, assets, operations, and employees. They will build and maintain relationships with third-party providers contracted to deliver IT services, ensuring that they meet established SLAs and KPIs. This role also involves holding suppliers accountable for their performance, managing service contracts, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery to support business objectives.
Function:
The Corporate Services function is accountable for providing core enabling capability to the other functional areas in EWR Co. to maximise performance of the organisation, that includes financial management, IT, and HR services. It is accountable for providing reporting services to enable decision making and assuring that quality systems and processes are in place.
Contract: 3 month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party IT service providers to ensure effective collaboration and service delivery.
- Co-Develop the IT Roadmap with Head of IT and Senior IT Manager to ensure the coordination, planning and right integration of our platform needs with the support of Platform Owners
- Own the delivery of the IT roadmap on time / budget / scope
- Support the IT Architecture, Solutions & Change Lead in organising the Technology Platform reviews with the community Platform Owners
- Support the digitisation end-to-end and drive the development and management of technology solutions as cohesive products
- Monitor and manage supplier performance against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct regular performance reviews and meetings with suppliers to discuss service quality, address issues, and drive improvements.
- Resolve escalated service issues and disputes, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand service requirements and ensure that suppliers meet these needs.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in supplier performance and service delivery.
- The role owner is one of EWR Technology Platform owner (among ‘Design the Railway’, ‘Control the Project’, ‘Manage our Customers and Stakeholders’, ‘Run the Business’ and ‘Core IT’)
- Take responsibility of your own and others’ health and safety by adopting and working to the EWR Co Health and Safety principles.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong working experience of managing IT Vendors, in a medium scale organisation.
- Experience in leading the the development and implementation of whole IT systems and products is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments and levels of the organisation. Influencing skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, strategy development, and collaborative implementation at a comparable scale.
