The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser is a key role on our fundraising team and has two key aims:
- Driving significant income growth from corporate partnerships, by taking Maggie’s national partnership proposition to businesses to meet ambitious but achievable targets.
- Delivering and growing key partnerships with support from the other members of the Corporate Partnerships and Centre Fundraising Teams.
In order to achieve these aims, two other key elements of the job will be:
- Supporting with the development and delivery of corporate collateral and engagement tools to steward existing partners and attract new ones – such as webinars and networking events.
- Supporting Centre Fundraisers to grow partnership income from companies of all sizes and will assist in the development of engagement initiatives to cultivate new and existing supporters – for example by leading on our Christmas Corporate Appeal.
Although this is an office based role, a typical week will involve travel to corporate offices and other Maggie's locations. There will be a requirement to work occasional irregular hours.

Key responsibilities
- Secure new multi-year corporate partnerships, by identifying, research and approaching prospects by creating proposals and pitches
- Act as first point of contact for new corporate partnership enquiries into Maggie’s
- Lead on creation of corporate campaigns to help Maggie’s centres grow corporate income
- Manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships, building strong relationships and growing them into higher value multi-year partnerships, including keeping account plans updated
- Support on the delivery of our national Howden and Scotmid partnerships
- Lead on development and delivery of corporate partnerships collateral and engagement tools such as webinars and networking events
- Lead on keeping corporate partner pages of website updated
- Attend local and national fundraising activities as appropriate
- Accurately monitor and evaluate activity results for reporting purposes
- Thank and acknowledge central donations keeping accurate records on donors
- Support on forecasting and budgeting
Skills, knowledge and expertise
- Educated to A level / Higher or equivalent experience in the workplace
- At least three years’ corporate fundraising experience with an understanding of the UK fundraising sector
- Experience in meeting and exceeding income targets
- Strong written and verbal communication, with experience in writing successful fundraising proposals and applications and confidence in delivering fundraising presentations/pitches
- Confidence in speaking to senior stakeholders internally and externally
