Contract: Permanent – Part Time

Salary: £16,234 (pay award pending)
Hours Per Week 25hrs per week. Monday to Friday to be worked as either AM or PM

Job/Person Summary
We have a vacancy for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our successful and nurturing team. If you can bring enthusiasm and energy, are reliable and ready to play, ambitious for the children in your care, motivated to develop your own practice, brimming with ideas, love working as a team member and willing to go that EXTRA mile, then we want to hear from you.
We are a diverse and unique school and nursery in the heart of Southsea, committed to delivering excellent outcomes for all our children. In this busy and varied role you will implement activities to support children’s development and learning, be a key worker to a group of children and maintain accurate developmental records.
What are we looking for in a Nursery Practitioner? Someone who:
- is qualified to at least level 3 in childcare
- has prior experience of working within a nursery setting
- has a good working knowledge of the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- is keen to learn and want to make a difference
- is a role model and enjoy working with children
- is flexible in working practices
- is able to communicate effectively on all levels
- is able to use their initiative and work independently where appropriate
