Overview

You will create stories that share who we are both internally and externally.
Location: 3 days per week based at our North Acton Office & 2 days WFH.
What You Will Do
Internal Communications
Developing our internal communications calendar across all internal channels and global locations (e.g. via email, newsletter, Town Hall, events and screens) to inform and inspire our people with compelling written, visual and spoken storytelling.
Building relationships with key stakeholders in the business as a source of news, intel, support and partnership for comms and events, including Johnnie Boden himself.
Managing the intranet’s design and content (in partnership with content owners) including leading the project to re-fresh, re-vamp and re-launch it.
Employee Engagement
Managing our bi-annual employee engagement survey and platform, Peakon, including pre and post-survey communications, high-level analysis of results, stakeholder management and driving of action plans across the business (in partnership with People team Business Partners).
Leading our employee representation group, Belonging at Boden, to drive diversity and inclusion and incorporate their initiatives and events into our internal communications calendar.
Being the comms & engagement representative at quarterly Forum meetings (in which we discuss issues and questions that have come up around the business).
Driving the uptake of employees’ dedicated volunteering day by working with partner charities to organise opportunities that connect our people with purposeful projects.
Driving the uptake of our reward and recognition schemes, including quarterly Boden Behaviours Awards, e-cards on the Loft and our Boden benefits.
Events & Gatherings
Coordinating and hosting company events such as the monthly Townhall, quarterly Afternoon Teas, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) Updates and ad hoc ‘In conversation with’ events with external speakers.
Conceptualising new surprise & delight ideas to engage our people throughout the year.
Employer Brand
Managing LinkedIn in partnership with our Recruitment team.
Incorporating LinkedIn content into our communications calendar.
Partnering with Content Creators across the business to source content for LinkedIn.
Thinking of new ways to appeal to candidate with our content e.g. an employee spotlight series.
Partnering with Recruitment to keep all candidate comms, careers pages and job listing platforms (e.g. Indeed, Glassdoor) up to date and on-brand.
What We Are Looking For
Strong internal communications experience – including excellent copywriting skills and ability to adapt comms to Boden tone of voice.
Has stories to tell of their experience of working with a range of stakeholders and ability to influence senior leaders, characters, and/or busy people.
A thinker and a doer, ready to share your ideas and make great things happen.
Strong at communicating; able to tell a story, with some spirit and wit, attention to detail.
Experience in coordinating and hosting events and the creativity to come up with new engagement initiatives.
Experience managing existing platforms such as Sharepoint and Peakon.
Skilled at planning and executing pieces of work/projects, strive for high quality, bring colleagues and stakeholders along on the journey.
Warm, engaging and collaborative, enjoy working with the team to deliver exciting projects and having some fun along the way.
