🚀 Support Analyst – Fixed Income & Derivatives | Hybrid (London) | MARGO

MARGO is hiring a Support Analyst to join the Fixed Income & Derivatives team of one of our top-tier investment banking partners. You’ll be part of the APS F2B Flow team, supporting front-to-booking trading systems for Rates, Credit, and Derivatives desks.
📍 Location: Hybrid role based in London
🎯 Your mission:
Support critical trading platforms used by Fixed Income and Derivatives teams – ensuring high availability, fast performance, and seamless trade lifecycle management. You’ll work closely with traders and global teams to keep everything running smoothly.
💼 What you’ll do:
Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for Bonds, Swaps, Repos, CDS, HY, and Sales platforms
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across booking, pricing, and trading tools
Perform deep dives into root cause analysis and improve system stability
Tune performance across real-time market access and data computation layers
Collaborate with global development, infrastructure, and support teams
Contribute to projects across EMEA and communicate updates to stakeholders
Build strong working relationships with front office users and technical teams
🧠 Technical fit – what we’re looking for:
Strong experience with Linux/Unix and Windows environments
Proficiency in SQL for investigating and resolving database issues
Good scripting ability in Python or similar for automation/troubleshooting
Understanding of networking fundamentals, firewalls, and latency tuning
Familiarity with support processes, incident management, and change control
Bonus: Exposure to market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Tradeweb, ION)

Scripting & Automation: Python, Ansible, Bladelogic
Databases: SQL, Oracle
Monitoring/Tools: ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Tibco RV
Market access: ION MarketView, Tradeweb, Bloomberg, Reuters
