Key Responsibilities
This role takes the lead on publication requests for London represented artists whilst also working autonomously on client renderings and sketchups. Finally, you will be responsible for creating floorplans and artlogic pages for upcoming exhibitions when the Senior Image Archivist is not available.
This role is Tuesday to Saturday, 10am - 6pm, on site.
This is a highly demanding sales focused role in a commercial gallery environment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask, work both independently and collaboratively, with superb communication and organization skills, and an eye for detail.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Advanced level and proven record of image editing and colour correction in Adobe Photoshop CC.
- Confidence and good working practical knowledge of Adobe Bridge, InDesign,
- Acrobat, Microsfot office, DAMS and SKetchUp
- PC proficiency
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience working with digital images in an arts related environment, photo agencies or publishing industry.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at any given time whilst always bearing in mind the importance of prioritising and keeping to deadlines.
- Knowledge of artist’s copyright and image rights preferred
- Willingness to work longer hours when necessary and under your own initiative in order to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently and able to recognize and prioritise what’s most important under pressure.
- Previous commercial gallery exposure highly advantageous.
