The Job

To work within our warehouse/operations team with consistent focus on service and the best patient outcome.

You will be part of a team who are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of medical and surgical equipment used on and in patients in the operating theatre environment. Attention to detail and compliance to process essential.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Goods Inbound

  • Unpack, sort and check physical condition of returned sterile instruments and consumables.
  • By way of scanning generate replenishment order of used items.
  • Work closely with customer services team on customer priority list.
  • Remove when required out of date /short shelf-life stock.
  • Amend kit content list when system requires change.

 

Goods Out

  • By way of scanning pick, pack and ship external customers.
  • All activities are in line with SOP’s and Work Instructions
  • Housekeeping

 

Managing Key Relationships

  • Team Leader Demo Loan Logistics
  • Warehouse Manager
  • Operations Manager
  • Customer Services

 

Ensuring compliance in relation to Quality, Environment, Health and Safety

  • Ensuring compliance to Arthrex environmental systems
  • Ensuring all housekeeping audits are up to date
  • Adherence to all Health and Safety policies
  • Working knowledge of the business quality system and controls.

Education and Professional Experience:

  • Comfortable with getting to understand product and define systems and processes.
  • Strong computer literacy, including confidence with email, spreadsheets, and file management, is required.
  • SAP experience is desirable

 

Working Arrangements:

Please note this is a full-time position (40 hours per week) working shift patterns as per rota between the hours of 06:30 and 17:00 Monday to Friday.

This includes 30-minute unpaid break and 2 x15 minutes paid break per day.

 

Compensation and benefits:

25 days annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays (pro rata), free on-site car parking, Contributory Pension scheme, Medical Cashback plan, Group Income Protection and Life Assurance.
