- Regulatory Oversight: Interpret, and implement new compliance requirements across all operational areas.
- Programme Development: Design and execute comprehensive compliance programmes to mitigate regulatory risks.
- Risk Management: Identify compliance delivery risks, conduct impact assessments, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Policy & Procedure Implementation: Develop and implement policies that align with regulatory expectations and corporate governance, identify owners and work to ensure effective operationalisation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise closely with regulators, auditors, and internal departments to ensure there is clarity and focus on compliance delivery.
- Training & Awareness: Lead compliance training initiatives to educate employees on new regulatory obligations.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate programme and compliance delivery reporting and support audits.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance compliance programmes based on evolving regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Extensive experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or legal advisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations in financial services
- Proven change leadership skills with experience managing compliance programme teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ICA, CRCM, CCEP, CAMS) are desirable.
