About the role

We are currently looking for a (Junior) Treasury Analyst for Projects (m/f/d) who will report to the Head of Liquidity and Project Risk for Projects and be responsible for driving essential Treasury-related topics. Being part of the Liquidity and Risk Team within Projects, this role will work closely with various stakeholders, also on a senior level and support providing actionable advice and guidance to the regional entities.

What you will do

  • You will collaborate closely with the team members in the Finance Team for Projects to assure an overarching approach, enabling effective liquidity and bank guarantees steering and leveraging of synergies within the Finance Team for Projects.

  • You will conduct liquidity data analysis (covering actuals, budget monitoring and forecasts) as well as support the development and maintenance of comprehensive liquidity and bank guarantees reporting.

  • You will support the accurate and timely updated short-term and long-term liquidity forecasts as well as analyse large sets of projects financial data to ensure quality and consistency across different systems and reportings, e.g. mid-term planning and forecasts as well as the global pipeline.

  • You will maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards to monitor key treasury KPIs, liquidity positions, and cash flow forecasts.

  • You will contribute to the design and improvement of new processes following the successful implementation of the new Treasury Management System.

  • You will collaborate closely with colleagues in the Corporate Treasury Team, the Project Executive Team, the regional directors and corresponding regional entities by providing valuable financial reporting and analysis. You will communicate with other Segments, especially Independent Power Producer (IPP) to foster close exchange on liquidity forecast data and capital allocation.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • A relevant university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in the field treasury, financial management, controlling, accounting or related fields. Preferably within the renewable energy sector.

  • Proficient in MS Excel, knowledge of further analysis tools such as PowerBI is a plus.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic team player with getting things done mindset.

  • Structured way of working and good command of English.

  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills while collaborating with various stakeholders.
