Role Description:

About The Role

 

We are now looking for a Junior Analyst to join the Segregation of Duties (SOD) Team within the Financial Systems organization.  You will be responsible for SOD & Critical Action (CA) control facilitation, including SOD ruleset builds and maintenance, conflict summary analysis reporting, and review with applicable business & IT Risk Owners. 

B.responsible: key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with stakeholders to evaluate the SOD conflicts and CAs in SAP and other applications and consult with business units in reducing the SoD conflicts and/or implementing mitigation controls to address SOD and CA risk. 

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including flow charts, process narratives, risk and control matrices, segregation of duties matrices, and others. 

  • Review and advise upon changes to system user roles from an SOD and CA risk standpoint. 

  • Review and assess the impact of new system functionality, custom transaction codes and Fiori apps on the SOD matrix and rulesets.

  • Perform quarterly SOD certifications with respective Risk Owners.

 

B.skilled: 

  • 3+ years of experience with a strong background in business & IT risk management, segregation of duties, internal controls, and/or audit. 

  • Practical experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).

  • Practical experience with other SAP technologies (e. g., HANA DB, SAP GRC) is a plus.

  • Good understanding of overall business processes.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills (risk/function owners, auditors).

  • Ability to multi-task and successfully manage multiple priorities and projects.

  • Strong work ethic, integrous, enthusiastic, positive mindset, proactive, adaptable, and embraces change.

  • Ability to work independently, while still being a strong team player.

  • Fully comfortable working in English, both written and spoken.

  • Professional certification, such as CPA/ACCA/CISA (or similar), would be an advantage.

  • Ability to produce reporting, status trackers and presentations for the management team. 

  • Familiarity with project management tools and practices. 

  • Ability to navigate & execute projects in an agile environment, without over-engineering things.

  • Enjoys a fast paced, dynamic environment and is able to work under pressure. 

  • Pragmatic, ability to solve problems up to moderate complexity with limited management involvement, positive mindset. 

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with audit teams, management and other stakeholders effectively. 

  • Results oriented & customer focused. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment. 

  • Relevant Bachelor's or CA degree required.
