Responsibilities
Our client is seeking an IT Asset Visibility and Security Engineer to join their team! In this role, you will strengthen cybersecurity across the organization’s IT environment by ensuring comprehensive asset visibility and implementing robust protections for digital networks, connected assets, hosted applications, data, and employees to safeguard critical systems from evolving threats
- Implement and manage cybersecurity strategies to secure IT infrastructure and assets
- Deploy asset visibility solutions to enhance hardware and software asset management security efforts
- Support IT security operations, including network access control, Comply to Connect/Remain compliance, vulnerability management, and security event investigations
- Develop automation solutions and collaborate across teams to align security implementations with goals and requirements
Requirements
- 8+ years of IT security experience in a large enterprise environment
- Expertise with Armis Centrix, network security and infrastructure, Splunk (including knowledge object development), Windows/Linux system administration, and Python scripting/automation is required
Education/Certification Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required for this position
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH
- Strong communication skills with the ability to create technical documentation and interpret flowcharts
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders and driving results
Clearance Requirements
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Must be able to obtain a US Government Public Trust Clearance. Please note that the onboarding process for this position typically takes 4-6 weeks.
