The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Estimating and Pricing Specialist to join our organization supporting government estimating for the Transactional Spares team out of Hazelwood, MO.

This role will be responsible for a variety of estimating tasks, including estimate and cost volume preparation, proposal development, and conducting proposal reviews.

This position will support U.S. Government and Foreign Military Sale type proposal activities in the aftermarket sector, focusing on maintenance and spare parts for 29 platforms across 5 sites. This unique position allows the candidate to support a broad portfolio of programs and customers, both domestic and international, to gain broader experience and visibility.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops and substantiates cost estimates for the design, build, and aftermarket support of Boeing platforms, including evaluating requests for proposals (RFPs) and statements of work (SOW)

• Coordinates with internal functional teams to prepare and submit high-quality proposals, providing analyses and recommendations on pricing, risk, and competitiveness

• Supports negotiations with customers and maintain communication with internal and external partners to ensure accuracy in cost proposals

• Evaluates business cases and presents solutions to enhance business growth

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or higher

• Experience in proposal development

Preferred Qualifications 

• Capability to learn new systems & tools, estimating techniques, and gain program knowledge in a dynamic environment

• Ability to proactively apply problem solving skills

• Experience with time management skills to meet tight deadlines with first time quality

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $66,300 - $89,700
