We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful individual to join the firm as an Analyst within the Office of the CEO. This is an entry-level role on the small but highly functional Office of the CEO team. The individual will work on a variety of administrative and analyst-level tasks, including calendar management, expenses, social media posts, event planning, and project coordination. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a high level of attention to detail, be curious about learning about investment banking, be adaptable to changing priorities, have thick skin, be willing to do whatever it takes to get a task done, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and discretion.
Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff (CoS), the role operates within a dynamic and fast-paced boutique investment banking environment, where the Analyst will help leverage the Chief of Staff in her many duties (marketing, communications, strategy, administration). This is an opportunity for an early-stage professional who is hungry for more responsibility and eager to work hard to get a front row seat showing how the Office of the CEO is run and will be an excellent training ground for any number of career paths within support teams.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Chief of Staff, including calendar and contact management, travel arrangements, and answering her phone, serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Keep the CoS on track during the day, setting up video calls in advance, preparing and printing meeting materials, and informing attendees of delays or changes in the moment (and rescheduling as needed)
- Handle the CEO‘s and the CoS’s complex expenses
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date filing system for documents, records, and confidential information
- Assist in drafting and distributing executive communications, including the CEO’s quarterly notes and press releases, including sending them via SendGrid or MailChimp
- Coordinate executive-level events, functions, and engagements, including quarterly management meetings
- Develop and deliver repeatable client, industry, and internal events hosted by the firm (for ex, Golf Invitational), as well as firm-wide events like the annual holiday party
- Own the firm’s LinkedIn profile, working across departments to create new posts and get them approved by compliance
- Collaborate with all departments to develop and execute new marketing materials in PowerPoint
- Periodically refresh content on the firm’s website
- Work hand in hand with the CoS to produce major publications like the annual Impact Report and quarterly wins
- Help prepare the CEO for meetings by sourcing bios on clients, putting together basic pitchbooks, and doing general research
- Complete any reasonable projects or tasks as requested by CEO or his Chief of Staff
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask and ruthlessly prioritize
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient in using productivity tools and software, including MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Professional discretion to handle confidential information, highest levels of integrity. Discretion and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment
- EXCEPTIONAL attention to detail, with a healthy amount of self-motivation to get things done correctly
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Strong work ethic coupled with a sense of urgency around completing tasks
- Resourceful and proactive, with the ability to complete a high volume of tasks and project independently
- Thick skinned and open to continuous and direct feedback
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen knack for editing and proofreading

Preferred Qualifications
- Financial services experience
- Experience with AI writing tools and automation platforms
- Proficiency in content creation tools (ex: InDesign, Canva)
- Expertise with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with marketing email platforms (SendGrid, MailChimp, etc) and LinkedIn
- Understanding of SEO and content marketing strategies
- 1-3 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant or analyst or similar role, preferably in the banking or consulting sectors
Compensation
- Base salary is expected to range between $70,000 – $85,000, depending on experience
- Eligible for discretionary bonus
