Job Summary: The Senior Client Services Executive works directly with the Sales, Marketing and Training teams, as well as other areas of the company to promote, generate and expand positive relationships and learning and training opportunities for clients and other external and internal audiences, among other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Applying independence and creativity practices in working with Sales, Marketing and Training teams to develop and strategize common practices and new ideas to deepen client knowledge base and product confidence through regular and special training and learning opportunities.
  • Serve as a Business Development and Research resource with external organizations such as NASWA and other industry and related organizations.
  • Attend NASWA events as assigned.
  • Assist the company with government-related events, including participation in such organizations as the Governor and Lt. Governor associations, and other political events and organizations as needed.
  • Attend RLGA events as assigned.
  • Serve as the lead organizer and host of the GSI Lunch Time Learning series for clients.
  • Serve as the lead organizer and host of the GSI Workforce State User Group series for clients.
  • Serve as organizer and host of other related practice areas related to clients, as well as staff internal audiences, including training.
  • Seek external speaking and participation opportunities with organizations as NASWA, RLGA and others.
  • Utilize industry and political contacts to connect GSI contacts with external stakeholders.
  • Seek new innovation methods to grow the GSI brand externally, working with the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Share meaningful data and performance results of webinars and other events with key internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with clients to schedule on-site visits to learn more about, from the client perspective, what is working, what is not working, and ideas clients may have to improve and expand services and products. Also share meaningful data and other reports with client visits. Visits may include state office leadership, staff office users, regional offices and local offices, working closely with the client to schedule such visits. A common goal must be to provide superior customer service and a trusted partner. Provide written reports and other deliverables following client visits.
  • Conduct regular meetings and telephone conferences with client to maintain a solid, professional relationship, and to determine issues and provide status updates.   
  • Hiring of new staff as needed.
  • Participate on regular group and team calls as needed.
  • Other duties, tasks and special assignments as needed.
  • Must be willing and able to meet and travel, including weekends.
Requirements

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • Communication    
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
  • Ability to interface and work successfully within all levels of the company
  • Ability to organize and run meetings on such platforms as GoTo Webinar and MS Teams.

Qualifications / Certifications:

  • Bachelors degree 
  • At least 5-8 years of successful management experience, preferably in a software/technical setting
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

Additional Requirements:

  • May also be assigned various projects and tasks as needed
