Job Description:
Support the creation and iteration of user experience and interface designs for web and mobile platforms, ensuring consistency, usability, and alignment with business goals. Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors throughout the design lifecycle. Contribute to design system expansion and advocate for user-centric solutions within a global e-commerce context.
Job Responsibilities:
Iterates on wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile experiences.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design new pages and features for the e-commerce platform.
Prepares production-ready design assets with a high level of attention to detail.
Partners with a third-party UX vendor to align design direction, provide and receive feedback, and support iterative improvements.
Works with the usability team to incorporate research findings into design solutions, ensuring a collaborative relationship between research and design.
Assists in maintaining and expanding the design system and UI component library.
Collaborates with product, engineering, and content teams to deliver technically feasible, user-friendly designs.
Audits existing user experiences and recommends improvements to layout, flow, and accessibility.
Participates in team meetings, project reviews, and collaborative workshops to support digital product goals.
Complies with internal design standards and accessibility best practices.
Job Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Product Design, or a related field.
Availability of 20–30 hours per week during Fall 2025; must be available in morning hours.
Portfolio showcasing design process and outcomes (student, freelance, or personal projects welcome).
Fundamental understanding of UX/UI design principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
Proficiency in Figma and ability to deliver high-quality, development-ready design assets.
Familiarity with user research methods and interest in user behavior and needs.
Strong organization, self-motivation, and ownership of work.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to receive and apply feedback.
Comfortable presenting design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
