ABOUT THIS ROLE

PEAK6 is looking for an organized and efficient Executive Assistant to join our Capital Management team. This role is for someone who can easily adapt to a rapidly changing environment and always thinks one step ahead. While providing administrative support, this person will also have the opportunity to take the driver seat of our organization’s philanthropic initiatives and take pride in seeing tasks through from start to finish. This role reports into our Sr Executive Assistant and Program Manager. 

This is an onsite position based out of our Chicago HQ. 

In this role, you will be responsible for: 

  • Administrative support needs primarily for the CEO, CTO, and Chief Strategy Officer, including but not limited to: calendar management, travel and expenses, project coordination, team event coordination, meeting management. 

  • Serving as a central point of contact for Capital Management leaders, supporting their day-to-day operations and anticipating their administrative needs.

  • Coordinating and preparing meetings by managing schedules, drafting agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring prompt follow-up on action items.

  • Excellent organizational, time‑management, and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.

  • Professional discretion and integrity when handling confidential matters.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in fast-paced environment. 

  • Partnering with Shared Services, portfolio company leadership, and the broader administrative team to streamline communication, resolve issues, and deliver seamless support.

  • Playing a key role in organizing team and office-wide events, both internal and external, to foster positive culture and collaboration.

  • Being a point of contact for questions, issue resolution and requests directed towards Capital Management. 

  • Leading and coordinating Capital Management’s philanthropic activities in partnership with the broader Philanthropy team, including planning, promoting, and executing in-office and community impact events.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience supporting an office, multiple teams, or executives.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment where priorities are known to change quickly and frequently; multitasking is second nature. 

  • Experience working with internal administrative and executive teams. 

  • High level of interpersonal, customer service and communication skills. 

  • Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility with an energy and desire to tackle new projects. 

  • Proficiency in G-Suite, Excel, PowerPoint and calendar management. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • A passion for fostering a positive company culture through creative engagement strategies and initiatives that inspire collaboration.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location. This position also may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to a range of health & wellness benefits, enhancing your overall compensation package.

Base Salary Range

$69,600-$87,000
