Join Our Environmental Planning & Approvals Team – Melbourne
 

We’re looking for a Principal Environmental Assessment & Approvals Consultant to join our growing team in Victoria. You’ll lead strategy, shape projects and influence the approvals landscape for high-profile clients across the state and beyond.
 

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing complex environmental approvals under the EP Act, EPBC Act and bilateral frameworks

• Leading the development of referrals, impact assessments, EMPs and technical reports

• Providing strategic advice to clients on environmental risks, constraints and pathways

• Liaising with state and federal regulators, and managing stakeholder engagement

• Mentoring junior staff and supporting team development

• Contributing to business growth and major project wins in VIC
   

What You’ll Need

• Degree in Environmental Science, Planning, Policy, or a related field

• 10+ years of experience navigating state and federal approvals processes

• Deep understanding of Victorian environmental legislation and regulatory bodies

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• A drive to lead, innovate, and deliver best-practice outcomes
