Velosio is seeking a Benefits & Wellness Specialist to support our employee experience-focused HR team. This role will focus on benefits administration, total rewards, wellness initiatives, and general HR support to ensure our employees receive the best possible experience with their benefits.

• Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
• Support benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations in coordination with HRIS systems and benefits providers.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, claims, and coverage details.
• Help coordinate wellness initiatives and promote employee engagement with available programs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date benefits records and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of benefits communications and educational materials.
• Support the total rewards strategy by gathering data and assisting with benchmarking and reporting.
• Collaborate with the HR team on generalist duties such as onboarding, employee communications, and compliance tracking.
• Participate in open enrollment planning and execution.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to benefits administration.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 4–7 years of experience in HR or benefits administration is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Interest in employee wellness and total rewards strategies.
