As we continue to expand nationally, we're seeking a Franchise Development Manager to help onboard and coach our growing network of franchisees to success.

As a Franchise Development Manager, you will be a hands-on partner to our franchisees—supporting their business launch, guiding local marketing and hiring strategies, ensuring compliance, and serving as a trusted coach for growth. You will play a vital role in building a high-performing network of entrepreneurial appraisers and contribute to Velox's reputation as a world-class franchisor.

Key Responsibilities

Franchisee Onboarding & Launch Support

• Lead new franchisees through the onboarding and launch process
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure territory setup, marketing assets, and tech platforms are ready
• Guide franchisees in establishing their initial business plan and operating model

Franchise Growth Coaching

• Conduct regular performance check-ins (monthly, quarterly)
• Analyze KPIs and provide coaching on revenue growth, client acquisition, and market development
• Support franchisees in pricing strategies, workflow efficiencies, and capacity planning

Talent Acquisition & Appraiser Support

• Assist franchisees in identifying and hiring credentialed appraisers
• Provide support and resources to franchisees for onboarding appraisers 
• Maintain visibility into appraiser performance and retention across territories

Marketing & Business Development

• Help franchisees localize and implement marketing strategies
• Share best practices in referral generation, digital outreach, and brand activation
• Work with the central marketing team to launch regionally targeted campaigns

Compliance & Quality Oversight

• Ensure franchisees remain compliant with industry standards (USPAP, FHA, lender-specific guidelines)
• Assist with audit readiness, documentation, and recurring check-ins
• Support franchisees in navigating risk, claims, and quality assurance issues

• 3- 5 years experience in franchise or branch operations, business development, or multi-unit consulting (preferably in real estate, mortgage, or appraisal industries)
• Proven ability to coach entrepreneurs or independent operators toward measurable growth
• Strong understanding of service-based business models; appraisal or real estate background a plus
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
• Tech-savvy, with familiarity in CRM systems, dashboards, and remote coaching tools
• Travel is required for franchise visits and or regional events
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
• Motivated Self-starter with high energy
• Efficient time management & results driven
