The IT Project Manager - Remote is responsible for the comprehensive planning, execution, monitoring, and control of projects to achieve objectives within the constraints of time, cost, scope, and quality, as outlined in the signed agreement. Ideal candidate will have experience managing projects related to IT infrastructure and cabling. 

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to: 

  • Project Planning and Execution:
    • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Guide, influence, and motivate the team executing projects.
    • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Resource Management:
    • Manage project resources and stakeholders.
    • Ensure effective utilization of resources.
  • Monitoring and Controlling:
    • Monitor project progress and performance
    • Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues.
  • Communication:
    • Communicate with stakeholders and manage expectations.
    • Ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices.

    • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
    • Advanced knowledge of project management tools and software.

 REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Three to five years of experience working in a project environment, including relevant industry experience, preferably with overall responsibility.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving project issues.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:           

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • PMP or Equivalent Professional Certification

 PHYSICAL DEMAND:

  • Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • Regular, repetitive movements such as typing, mouse movements, and scrolling. Ability to hear and understand spoken communications, both in person and via remote communication tools (e.g., phone, video conferencing).
  • Ability to see and read computer screens and printed documents, as well as adjust focus. This includes prolonged periods of looking at a computer screen.
  • Ability to travel to meet with clients or attend industry events.

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm).  Additional hours may be required to meet client and internal expectations. 

Travel Expectations: Travel to meet with clients and internal teams as needed will be required.  Travel expectation is up to 10% domestic travel and possibly some international travel.

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 depending upon experience.
