What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee timely and accurate IFRS analysis and financial statement disclosure related to the income tax provision and deferred taxes (IAS 12), analysis of uncertain tax position (IA 37) and all other direct/indirect tax related provisions and accruals.
  • Direct and manage tax compliance including all estimated tax payments and tax return filings obligations, which includes all income and franchise tax cash payments as well as any refund claims.
  • Direct and manage all federal, state/provincial, and local income and franchise tax audits, appeals and litigation.
  • Manage all tax due diligence for acquisitions, disposition, and reorganizations.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to field personnel as necessary to help with federal and state franchise, income, sales & use, property tax and other types of taxes.
  • Develop and implement tax savings strategies.

What Are We Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or other related business field.  CPA of JD preferred.
  • 10-15 years of applicable experience with keen understanding of business to support favorable results in planning, accounting, audits, appears and litigation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage all tax related departments and motivate teams.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work with other cross-functional departments within the Organization, internal and external customer and market management.
