Job Summary:

The Finance and Strategy Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance and strategic direction of our organization. This position will help fuel Geode’s growth – balancing financial analysis with broader strategic projects to ensure alignment with the organization’s vision and performance targets. This individual will report to the Director of Finance and Strategy and partner closely with leadership to drive data-driven decision making across all areas of the business. 

Estimated base salary: $100,000 - $110,000 + bonus & benefits

Key Responsibilities: 

• Support the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-term financial planning. 

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends to inform decision-making. 

• Use data to identify opportunities for growth, risk mitigation, and operational improvements. 

• Create ad hoc analyses to support new service line development, ensuring financial feasibility and resource allocation. 

• Analyze provider and patient metrics and make strategic recommendations to enhance patient retention and satisfaction. 

• Build strong relationships across departments to gather relevant data and provide guidance to support departmental goals. 

• Create materials to effectively present findings to the Executive team and investors. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. 

• 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting (MBB), corporate finance, or relevant development programs at a healthcare organization.  

• Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. 

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data, generate insights, and present outputs clearly to stakeholders. 

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop and execute long-term business plans and operational improvements. 

• Passionate about behavioral health and commitment to our mission. 

• Knowledge of healthcare finance systems and regulations preferred (e.g., reimbursement models, cost structures, value-based care). 

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. 

Working Conditions:

• Remote work. Standard office environment with occasional travel per business need.

• May involve flexing hours to accommodate team member schedules.

• Ability to work during normal business hours.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for long periods of time.

• Fine finger coordination required for typing, pressing objects such as utilizing laptop/mouse for communication and documentation purposes.

• Ability to speak clearly with team members so others can understand. 

• Ability to hear and understand others when speaking.

• Ability to view computer screen monitor.
