Coordinator – Olympics & Action Sports
The principle responsibilities of the Coordinator are to provide support on marketing initiatives, assist in generating revenue, and support our athlete clients. Must be able to prioritize assigned multiple tasks, work under pressure, and succeed in a deadline-oriented environment. The Coordinator’s duties include creating marketing materials, researching potential brand partnerships, generating and following up on sales pitches and exploring alternate revenue generating platforms. In addition, the Coordinator answers client inquiries and escalates according to judgment, prepares detailed presentation materials, and maintains sales databases. The candidate will assist the team and our athlete clients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Create, organize and customize sales pitches, presentations and other marketing materials
- Establish and maintain relationships with marketing and other industry contacts
- Research potential endorsement and revenue generating opportunities, contact names, industry trends, or other assigned subjects
- Assist in maintaining accurate information about our clients
- Procure and manage marketing opportunities and requests for clients
- Respond to front line questions and issues with internal and external clients
- Maintain efficient and up-to-date sales and agency database
- Coordinating and implementing projects
- Client support and general administrative tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1+ years (preferred) relevant industry work experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Prior Sales and Marketing experience
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on finding solutions
- Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office for windows (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
- Highly Proficient with Social Media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, SnapChat among others)
- Highly detail oriented, neat, and organized at all times
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to establish and maintain up to date, efficient systems for tracking client deliverables
- An excellent communicator with outstanding written and verbal skills, both in person and on the telephone
- Demonstrated ability to be absolutely reliable and trustworthy, and to maintain appropriate confidentiality in all matters
- Demonstrated experience in positions requiring discretion, judgment, tact, and poise
- Exceptional people skills, able to gain and maintain the trust and confidence of individuals at all levels both within and outside Octagon
- Demonstrated skill with juggling deadlines and demands to achieve the desired results within required timeframe
- Ability to work well with others with tact and diplomacy
- Travel as needed
