Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IBM Maximo Asset Management and preferably a background in Industrial Manufacturing. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough testing of IBM Maximo Asset Management applications to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts based on project requirements.
  • Identify document and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand system requirements and design test scenarios.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
  • Utilize automated testing tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Participate in requirement review meetings to provide input from a testing perspective.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of test environments and test data.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by coordinating with end-users and addressing their concerns.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in software testing and IBM Maximo Asset Management.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of IBM Maximo Asset Management and its functionalities.
  • Demonstrate experience in developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to identifying and documenting defects.
  • Show proficiency in using automated testing tools to streamline testing processes.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Preferably have domain knowledge in Industrial Manufacturing to better understand the application context.
  • Be adaptable to a hybrid work model and manage tasks efficiently during day shifts.

    ISTQB Certified Tester IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Maximo Asset Management V7.6
