Salary Range: $17.7 - $20.65 Per Hour
Job Summary: This position is located at Fort Campbell Texas Roadhouse. This is a "Flexible" position (0-40 hours) with no eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans. Major Duties:
- Sets tables, arranges place settings and table decorations according to Texas Roadhouse standards.
- Receives guests, makes suggestions and answers questions about food, wines and other items available.
- Takes and places orders. Receives food and beverages from kitchen and bar when required.
- Maintains sales record. Collects cash or payment by credit card.
- Clears and cleans tables and other customer service areas.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: This is a developmental position leading to the full performance level, NA-7420-03 Waiter. Employee will be non-competitively promoted to the next grade (PD# AK079) no later than six months of satisfactory performance. The employee works under closer than normal supervision until full performance level is reached. At management's request, the incumbent may be promoted to the full performance Waiter once all required training is completed, meets all regulatory and qualification requirements; and is performing the full scope of the major duties under the proper level of supervision. Qualifications 1. Applicant must meet the state of Texas age requirements (18 years old) for the servicing of alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment. 2. Possess basic math skills necessary to compute patron bills and make change. 3. Be able to communicate effectively in English.
